Evening guys.....

After owning my uk spec nc30 for 5/6 years now im considering parting with it, and wanted to ask you experts a rough valuation, the bike is a 90/91 H reg, number plate being H14 VFR, not a private its the original, someone told me once it was hondas press bike because of the number plate??? but i dont know this for sure.

Its completely standard, its in EXERLENT condition, some say mint but im picky and only call brand new bikes mint.

its done 37k mikes, full history, and a massive folder of paperwork, including the original sales leaflet.

recently had a few new parts from mr david silver (nothing wrong with old ones just got them because they were avaliable) these were, new screen brace, top yoke, fairing screw set, indicators full set, screen bolt set, bar ends and brake/gear change rubber.

bodywork is all perfect, no lugs missing cracks etc.

so guys what u think its worth???

There's one on Ebay for 4.4k.... not sure it's worth that much I guess it's what ever some one is prepared to pay for it

If I had the $ would probably pay between 2 and 3 k

if it has all the original uk spec bits like mirrors, undertray indicators and service book and warranty card then thats a rare bike and desirable.
hard to say, but no less than 3k on a bad winters day, more like 4k or more esp just after a mag has done an article on one and gets peoples hearts beating.
so stick it on ebay and lets see how it does. failing that put a post up here in the correct section and see if you get any bites.

just as i wrote the post....i forgot to say i realise to a point its worth what someone will pay,

CRM - it has original evrything you said minus the warranty card.

what mag feature you mean??

i meant, once there has been a UK NC30 feature in any of the mags, prices rocket when the collectors with deep pockets start getting into bidding wars and push prices up for a month or so

i see, very true, once ive uncoverd it under the thousand blankets in the garage to keep it warm ill take some pics.

A friend has just bought that one.
It belongs to another friend, the best nc30 I have seen apart from a 600 miler original 1 owner that sold for £5000 a few years back.

I have almost the identical bike as you,,,,, i'd say around £3500,

Fastline bikes have just sold a RWB 'Jap' import for £3899 it was on ebay for two days

Another UK bike sold last week almost instantly for £3400.

Yes theres a UK bike on at the moment for £4400, im watching it..............


Maybe worth hanging on to it for a bit longer, prices of good UK bikes have gone up and up and up recently

Are you sure it "sold" though. not been uncommon for bikes to sell only to be back on sale a couple of months later with them.

However i do agree, good original 30's are on the way up and fast, and overtaking RVF's in terms of price

i think your right guys.....they are going up in value.

everyone is telling me to keep it......so another call to mr silver to see what else he has for the little beauty!!!
