I wish this was a build thread, but I got all excited and put it together without taking any pics.

It is about 95% done. Just have to sort the rear wheel not wanting to turn and the flooding/non-starting problem.

The only things on this bike that make is special is the Ducati 996 front end, exhaust and rearsets from God-knows-who, the steering stabilizer and a toggle switch ignition. The Pirelli slicks are a few years old and I am not sure I trust them at this point.

Anyways... Pics.

Yep. It would be nice if the bolt on the bottom of the master were 10mm longer!

Looking well Steve. I'm currently doing the same and building a track heap out of old spares.

Guys you need to speak to Diamond Race Products and get this lever from them as in the photos I've taken tonight to get over this rear brake problem your having.
Top lever is the new one well my spare and bottom one is the one you have.
Image

This is the new lever fitted and it makes the shaft from the master straight to, mine needs alittle more adjustment as it's still a little low for me but I have loads of adjustment left with the new lever.
Image

I rang them and spoke to a guy in the workshop and emailed him this pic explaining the problem and he sent me one black and one silver lever with the longer bit at the connection end as a replacement which worked.

Hope this can be of some help.

So get this... I decided to move the track bike tonight and for some reason I peered into the fuel tank. Hey! Where did the fuel go I put in there last week?

Odd...so I pull the dipstick to see if I can smell and fuel and it came shooting out of the oil dipstick hole like Ole Faithful! I should have taken a pic. Apparently my fuel tap doesn't turn off, even when it is in the off position AND I have at least one stuck float. There was like 6 liters of fuel in the crankcase!

So I drained the fuel/oil out of the bike and put in some new oil I had laying around. Cheap stuff just to have oil in the bike. Then I turned it over for a few seconds to hopefully recoat the cylinder walls with oil. Man, I really hope nothing is damaged. At least I never turned it over when it was full of fuel!

No it is time to fix the tap and carbs and put some new plugs in. I am never going to get to ride this thing!
