Lol love the make shift spray room and is that drying above the cooker?
My misses would flip if I did that.

Sprayed them in the garage and then i may have put them over the cooker to dry
The missus doesn't mind, shes good when it comes to bike stuff although i haven't managed to persuade her to let me bring the bike indoors yet even though it would look very nice in the room in the extension.

I keep finding bits that need to be touched up or resprayed, i was thinking of getting the downpipes camcoated but its £220 and for another £60 i can get a new set of stainless downpipes from someone i trust on here so i've knocked that one on the head. I will be respraying the original ones as theres nothing really wrong with them that is after ive got off as much rust as possible.

Well Karl you started me off and as I decided to take my bike off the road Im now stripping my bike. The hardest part was taking the plastic connecter off the fan housing, what a pain that was, it did not want to move, seemed the rust held the plastic in place! took me an hour to shift it. Yes, I did use a small driver to unclip but no shifty.

The radiator is now in the bath havng a soak, hopefully removing the build up of crap and bugs, then its paint time.. I want to clean the engine next then start on the front end calpiers, fork legs, triple clamp etc. Then the sub frame needs powder coating and ev erything else cleaned. I only have two weeks to do it. The bikes in bits the living room, one of the pirks of living by yourself, I suppose.. At least I wont get cold hands..

Very nice, your rad looks in better nick than mine, should brigten up those difficult to get to places. I notice your plug clip on the fan is at a different angle to my clip. I have painted my rad with silver vht but the bikes just sat there until my new head bearings arrive. Calipers are refreshed with new seals, forks now polished and laquered.

On a seperate note worth mentioning, I ordered some new washers for my rocker cover ordered at 4pm they arrived next morning 10am from Lings, brilliant service, was not expected until over Christmas.
