Replacing a jerking gearbox on super four
Posted: Wed Nov 23, 2011 6:12 am
Hi folks... I just bought my 2nd super four and took it for Mot and passed... but unfortunately the previous owner told me nothing about the jerks, or slips, every 2 - 3 seconds under load
I'm not happy since I do lot of motorway miles...
Anyone knows how much time will take me to replace the complete gearbox? the engine it's going sweet and would be another gamble to replace the whole unit. I have spent £250 to get through MOT (tyres, pads, fork seals, and front bearing). Help
Regards
