Carbon fairings - Brainstorm?

To cut a long story short... I have bought a raggy, ratty, rusty NC23 type 9 bike. It's seen better days but there is potential.
Anyway, with all this talk about how Chinese fairings only fit after much coercion etc I can not help but wonder if there is enough of us to have together enough original panels, from which to clone a few sets of carbon fairings, custom made to a more manageable price?
I am all up for buying a set of Chinese fairings until I noticed that the seller was going to sell me a set of NC29 fairings in NC23 colours. My bike is a rust bucket and I am by no means a purist, but I would actually, like something nice, and representative of the original.
So, who's up for carbon fairings if they were available, and how much would you be prepared to pay?
Alternatively, can somebody please recommend me a place where I can get a set of good NC23 fairings? "Good" - as in, ones that fit well, with a paint job that is not drowned in clear gloss with orange peel, preferable UK made. Cheers.

I have a great supplier of carbon parts that is willing to make me new parts if I can get enough orders if people are interested in carbon bodywork then I can see what can be done. We will though need a set of standard pannels to copy from (OEM)

I'd love some carbon panel but I think they would be more than the bikes worth.
At the right price I could be interested, anyone want to take a guess at how much a full set would cost? Also would they be track fairings or road. I'd only really be interested in track with no light holes.

Getting stock panels to work from is easy. The problem is the price. Any clues?

A ball park fig would be around £1000.00 for front and rear panels but it is ball park we do a set of panels for the Aprilia RSV4 and the BMW S1000RR which retail around £1350.00 but these are more likely harder to make than the CBR panels so I would expect the CBR panels to be a little cheaper.

Gavin, that's great to know. On the other hand even at £700 a set the fairings are more than what I am paying for the bike... THEN there is the paint job, which brings it over 4-figures.
I'm not ruling it out, I am just saying that perhaps today is not the day.

If individual panels were available you could maybe go for just a carbon headlight fairing with standard for the rest. Would be cool.
Infact a carbon standard shape seat unit would be good with some tanslucent graphics to show the weave through.

Could the panels be lacquered and just show the carbon weave or do they need painting and would they be for road use or just track use?

Carbon sounds good, but unfortunatly, i'm out. Would cost more than what my bike's worth. Maybe the odd panel here and there though :p
Hows about ABS panels? Always people asking to buy 'em and it would be alot more trustworthy getting them from you as oppesed to the chinese ones.
