are the hoses for the rad in the same positsion if i fit a 600 motor???..just i was looking at the samco hoses for the 400 3tj???

What rad are you using,I'm using the 600 rad so i use the 600 hoses.

part of my Q really....should i use the 600 rad???...or will 400 do?

I used a 400 rad on mine and it was fine. They're pretty much the same size if you look at them side by side, except the 400 doesn't have the oil cooler pipes (unless you've got an SP or a 4DX). I blanked the oil cooler lines off on my 600 engine.

Some have been able to use the standard right side hose turned around, but that didn't work for me so I made up a hose using standard 3TJ stuff I had lying around and some 7/8" handlebar tube

If you use the 600 rad you can use 600 hoses.like i did.

How did you guys mount the 600 rad to the 400 frame?? I found that the mount different at the top
