nc24 valve clearance adjusted, what are the thin steel bits?

As above, What are the thin steel bits above the valves? also there are "H" shaped thin tubes or bars on top of the rockers? Sorry I didn't take any pics as I was kind of in a hurry before it got too dark.
BTW. its all built up again and running sweet now.. 8-) ... :pray:

Shims?

It is a screw adjust on the 24 innit?

H tubes are oil feeds

Not shims mate, they look like some sort of spring steel covers that go right across the head between the valve springs but each end goes under the rockers, there is an access hole in the middle where you can get the feeler gauges into, Just. I had to bend my feeler gauges about an inch or so from the end at about 45 degrees so they would fit in. Wish I had some pics to show now, doh.

Looks like its part no 11 in this, rocker springs. Problem solved.

And I see now what you mean about the "H" shaped pipes, Oil feeds. Dam, these wee bikes are well engineered.
