Re: rearsets and damper
i bought a cheap yoshi copy rear set and they use the standard stuff, not badly made either, not great but not bad, its the price that did it though, you could buy 5 sets of the cheap ones for the price of a good set.

Re: rearsets and damper
ive got a 'universal' damper, it goes around the fork leg and is secured onto the metal bracket up on the side near the front of the frame. you can drill and tap the frame to mount them too. my road frame had the holes from where it was used as a race bike.

Re: rearsets and damper
just a thought about the steering damper,do you really need one? my 3tj2 has never tank slapped or got unstable on road or track and the roads on the iow are awfull, even with the yokes pulled thru the yokes either 5 or 10mm,the rear raised by 8mm, and racy track tyres fitted its never got out of shape.not trying to be a killjoy but you could save the cash and spend it on something else that you may really need.or perhaps i aint trying hard enough!
