When having the carbs off the last time, I couldn't see (Didn't look that well) the sync screws.
Where are they placed, what is your preferred method of sync? And how do I access them with tank and all mounted,

In the linkages, you can just see them if you peek inbetween the V at the underside of the carbs.

I just adjust the throttle butterflies (with the balance screws) to the same opening, not really a true balance but it hardly matters for the track bike. I also use this method for my roadie.
Use a (very) small drill bit and adjust the butterflies until it just fits in the gap. The haynes has the correct order in which to adjust the balance screws.

The haynes says match 4 to 2 then 1 to 3 and then both together, which is easier said.. By turning in one of the screws, you decrease the vacuum reading and open the butterfly more. When you adjust the screw on 4(nc30) you affect the reading of 1&3 as well because those screws rest on springs and they all sort of move as one.Remember to blip the throttle after making an adjustment to ensure accuracy.. U can fashion a vacuum gauge from 20mm hosing and engine oil.. This proceedure must be carried out when the bike is warm which means your hands get burnt to sh1t unless you put a dish cloth on the water passage inbetween the vees, and turning the screws with anything other than a 90'screwdriver is impossible, as opposed to ridiculousy annoyingly difficult with the right tool.. Have Fun!

I know it's the correct procedure, but I really don't see any advantage in synching the carbs while they're on the bike. I've never had any issues using the drill bit method for road or track bikes. And that means no expensive carb balancers, no burnts hands and no awkward screwdrivers - too easy really!

Ha, try the same on the NC35, not only do you have all those problems but there is only a tiny hole to fit your hand through.
I bought one of the long 90 degree screwdrivers to do it (but not used them yet) because it was such an arse to do.
