Well need some pics to be sure what it is. Lots of people see Mikuni and think they're flatslides but they turn out to be CV's (made by by the same company see), not saying they aren't though

The number on the back of the engin, infront of the shock is the code for the bearings on the main journals and not the engine number, you will find the engine number just above the clutch cover but it will only say 1wg and nothing else.
The carbs are mikuni CV not flat slides, RR ones have one removable air jet and the SP carbs had two.
BB702 is an SP cdi, if the bike revs to 16000rpm then the cdi is de-restricted,,,,,,,,,be warned DO NOT rev the bike that high unless you want to shag the crank, it may not have had the oil way modded and tbh, reving anything past the red line in neutral is asking for trouble.
Post as many pics as you can,,,,,,,,,dont suppose you bought the bike off ebay a few weeks ago? Black fairing??

i only rev'd it the once to find out...it has no MOT..so only way i could find out...no its a pretty cool looking Valvoline race rep...yeah...1wg is the only numbers i could find, just what im thinking i stay 45mins from knockhill so alot of wee bikes you find up here are ex race/track bikes..it also has the sp carbon can fitted,i was trying to find out if there was other way to find out what the motor was rr or sp..i know about the extra cooling pipe to the oil filter.

Vales are different too and I think the springs are a different colour to the RR
The SP standard can is the same as the RR's ... they're heavy too

You need a GOLD one at the fork leg end.
It won't fit behind the clocks.
