hi all

the lighting in the speedo on my NC30 is rubbish to say the least!
i am unsure just how many bulbs there should be in there but less than half of the speedo is lit
this makes riding in the dark very difficult
so my question is what kind of bulbs would be in there lighting the speedo and how many?
and also how would i go about replacing what i assume is blown bulbs in the speedo?

any help would be appreciated
regards, maks

There are two and are accessible from the rear of the instrument. Others on this forum may know the type.

You can usefully replace with these:

DO NOT go higher than 3w as it generates too much heat and will distort the speedo dial.
At 3w you will get significantly more light, but might suffer some condensation on cold days/mornings. Standard is 1.7w, some places do 2 or 2.3w, it's up to you where you draw the trade-off.
