You're never 'stuck' ;)

Silicone sealant, rubber adhesive and electrician's tape can all be used to diagnose, bodge and repair duff carb rubbers. It's just a case of getting stuck in and doing it and failing that I'm sure something else from something else can be made to work.

Do the rubbers look badly cracked ???
take the carbs off again and have a look at the writing on the edge around the hole. Make a note of it and tell us what you've got.

A import dealer wants to look at it no too far from me, he said anything can be fixed and actually imported fzrs when they came out. I thought of putting a smaller spacer on the clamp so it so I would do up tighter! He said not to do this but what do you guys think?
Thanks
