removing carbs from a FZR400RRSP

Hello
I'm intending to thouroughly clean my FZR but have found my first brick wall. The tank and air filter is off but I can't remove the carbs. The left hand hex bolt came out without too much trouble but the right hand one is causing problems. Its quite difficult to access due to the throttle mechanism. I've tried long handled allen keys but it won't budge and I think I'm in danger of rounding off the bolt casing. Is 5mm the correct size or do I need some imperial ones? Apologies if these are really bone questions but I'm an absolute beginner!
Cheers Dave

I remember them being tricky but not impossible. Check the one you've got off they should be the same.
I think I used an allen key

Were you on the last forum ... I thought we had a reverend on there ?

Thanks Evil
Yes, Its me of old (Phil's mate). Redundancy has taken away all my excuses not to get the bike running! I'll give the allen keys another go, just abit concerned that I'm going to 'round the hole' so to speak.
Cheers Dave
