Showa Fork Stickers
I'm currently making myself some replica Showa fork decals, but have a few questions that need answering before i carry on. So was wondering if anyone can help me out? I 'm basically trying to ascertain where the sticker goes on the inside of the fork leg. Looking at pictures of my fork legs before re-spraying there is a clean area that suggests, that is where they were most likely to have been, they never had the stickers on when i bought the bike, so i have no reference. I have cast my over a UK NC30 and they sit up the top like one of my pictures suggest...
I'm also after the number/code that appears on the sticker, my bike is a 1989 NC30 RK model.
If anyone has one with the stickers on, i was wondering if it might be possible to help me out?
Cheers

Re: Showa Fork Stickers
It's confession time...
I made a bit of a mistake with my Showa stickers, the sticker i thought was correct, was not. But I have been able to rectify this by getting my hands on an original sticker and successfully reproducing it...
I'm assuming that no body is lucky enough to have these decals still on their bike as i had no replies
or you all knew i was barking up the wrong tree with that previous sticker and didn't have the heart to tell me!
anyway problem solved! (hopefully)

Dave aka Arsey30 is very knowledgeable about the bike, he may be able to help with queries like this in the future :)

Re: Showa Fork Stickers
I only have a UK NC30 now, so can't check Jap spec only stuff.
I had a few label sets made up and gave a few to friends, but can't remember who on this site did them for me, it was not Brooky.
Dave.

So how do your forum friends get them?

Re: Showa Fork Stickers
The idea was to get some sets made up as some local friends asked for them as well.royster81 wrote:So how do your forum friends get them?
Once available, they then could be ordered direct from the printer.
The only flaw in the scheme is that I have forgotten who it was

I still have an original I can send or picture [with dimensions] if anyone can print copies and there is any demand from forum UK nc30 owners.
I don't recall a demand at the time
Dave.

Hi, apologies for interfering, but took upon myself to recreate this for you all.
So if anybody needs it, let me know and i can email it to you. The only thing i don't have are the dimensions
