I'm after a pair, anyone know who's doing any good deals at the moment? Obviously as cheap as possible.

I'm after some as well. I am wondering whether to get them mail order and attempt to get the wheels off by myself or just take them to a tyre shop...
http://www.superbiketyres.com I usually use.
Do you happen to know the standard NC30 tyre sizes by any chance? My bikes at home and I'm at work and wanna do some investigating today. have a nail in the rear and slow puncture

120/60/17 and 150/60/18 are std.
I always buy form my local shop iof going for brand new - like to keep them in business! Also, partworns are a bargain!

for the price of tyres you are as well getting them done at a tyre shop.....they dont usually charge much and it gets done proper no damage to rims etc.......im using bridgestone bto14 front and rear at the mo and they seem quite good, dual compound so they dont wear as quickly as the last set i had...gpr70 and gp alpha 10,i only got 1500miles out of the alpha 10 which was a bummer.......

Bt014'S arn't dual compound afaia although fair do's if they're wearing better than Dunlops :)
The only sporty Dual Compound tyres I know of atm are Diablo Corsa III's and Michellin 2CT's both of which i've had fitted to my recently broken R1 and the Corsa III's on the CBR929 atm and I'm happy to report I'm 90% I'll be going Corsa III's again when the time comes as they're wearing very well (trip to the Ring...fast autobahn, 6 laps, 1000+ UK road miles and 2 trackdays), still at least a 3rd left with the profile nice and round & grip well on the edges (no slips so far...touch wood)
I'm not sure they do a 18" rear for nC30's with std wheel but they might be a good option for RVF's or nC30's with 17" rears
my own 18" rear will most likley get another BT090 during the course of the summer

BT090's all the way. Heat up really quick and last for a good while. Never had grip issues with them in the time of owning a 400 (4 years now). The shagged set I have fitted to the 400 presently have done 2 track days, a 1000 mile trip around England last year, used daily from August to December when I commuted on the 400 to work and back as well as weekend ride-outs. Just make sure the PSI's set correctly and enjoy.
I ran 014's on the 400 a few years ago and they lasted less than 2000 miles. Just like Kermit though, I now use Diablo Corsa III's on the 750 as they are possibly the best all round tyre I've used (although yesterday was the first time I've had them spin up on me but I was going at a fairly good rate of knotts :D)

Second vote for BT090's, fantastic tyres, ace on trackdays and seem to last quite a reasonable while. Probably useless for commuting lots[1] mind.

[1] BT45's are quite good for that.
