London to Peak District

Nothing more to say really, if it's been organised it'll be here.

Hey guys!

I can't really make any other big trips soon coz i've got a lot going on and cash flow is low

SO... i've got this route so far
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Ber ... 3,4,5&z=10

If anyone could advise/sudgest any alterations to make it more enjoyable, please do!

I reckon i wanna do this within the next couple weeks, before the summer is over :)

Thanks all in advance!
Oh and please shout if you wanna come along! :D
hehe

Greetings.

Are you planning just to get out for a blast or are you camping somewhere? I live 20 mins from Bakewell so I'll come and show you some kick ass roads around there...

My experience would be to get some distance travelled asap rather than dicking about in the middle of the country into and out of 30 zones in the little villages.

Your run up the A515 is cool though..

Let me know when you are getting it sorted

Hi!

Cheers for at least responding ;)
Ya, i was thinking more like a full days riding kinda thing... maybe leave 5am and head back around 5pm kinda thing. But if you reckon it'd be better to camp out please do say! I love camping, and love my NC even more, so i'd be as happy as a pig in sh*t :)

I would absolutely love for you to show me some of the roads up there! Coz 99% of them down here suck! Although i love the bit between Thame and Bicester in the begining and won't be missing that :)

Well i tell you what, which weekend would you be free?

We'll sort something out. AM sure we could manage a few 400s out and about. It is not too far for some people to roll over and play out

Hey guys!

Thanks for the posts guys, and cheers Gazzahh for the link!
Sounds better and better! The more i think about it, i reckon i'd want to make a weekend out of it, and stay up there. Else i'll probably be too knackered to actually enjoy the riding :)

Am i weird for wanting to camp?... might actually work out cheaper to just B&B it if i'm still gonna need tail packs and such :/

Amen to the weather.... how's next weekend looking for everyone? Or possibly even the bank holiday weekend?

Hey, this sounds like a good run. I live in Bedford and am very tempted to come. Have plans this weekend and am working weekend of 20th/21st but will keep my eyes on this post. Have a tent and all that jazz, nothing wrong with wanting to camp.

Some cool roads up there too, would also be good to meet a few more peeps on here too. Now just need to get my bike serviced...
