Bigger Sprockets.

Post by Brett »

My bike is at the mechanics. I've asked him to put a bigger back sprocket on for more acceleration. The bike is standard. He said one tooth up. Will this make a difference?

Thanks.

Well yeah it will make some sort of a difference, it depends on how much of a difference you are looking for. How much quicker do you want to accellerate at cost of top speed... just a little or lots :?:

wont make "much" difference, 1 down at the front would make more difference, and its easier to swap back if you dont like it, or fancy a change, i'm running 14/47 on my zxr (from 15/45 stock) .. that makes a difference :)
