I like that scheme on the tyga fairings - thought about doing it myself.

I googled 'bike decals' and found a company that do that set - £45ish if i remember rightly!

here is a link to them - http://www.bikedecals.co.uk/

It's ok, doesnt really do it for me but it's a personal choice.
It looks clean and tidy but doesnt jump out with that 'WoW' factor.
When I do mine this winter I suspect a few people will critisise and some may like it.....

Well I will comment!

I like this scheme coz I was the one who got the paint done on this particular bike ;). The RC211V body kit we do for the NC30 is modelled most closely on the 2006 RC211V which was the year Stoner rode a Honda last time round before he went to Ducati.

I'd really like to do another set this colour and it looks terrific. I spoke to our painter the other day about doing one (same guy who did the one in the photo) and he reminded me how difficult it was with the materials we have available. The main issue was the gold foil which first wouldn't stick and then when we applied it over one layer of clear it bled into the clearcoat... Anyway, if you paint the foil gold or get top quality gold foil sticker it is possible to do a good job. The red on our bike is a bit too dark and we now have a brilliant red mixed with fluorescent (same as out T10 NC30) and this would be the way to go. The Givi was only on the bike some races and the exact scheme changed from race to race. We don't have a sticker kit any more because our man at the sticker shop ran away and made ago go bar signs instead or something. We do still have paper outlines which we use to size the stickers up and I think they are pretty accurate so we could photo copy you a set so you can get them vinyl cut locally. Word of warning... the 27s are very challenging by the way. Our painter ended up just painting the Australian flag on the fender coz he lost patience with the stickers. Clever b***d he is...

In conclusion, it is very difficult to do well, but in my opinion is the best paint job we ever did on the RC211V kit and if we did it again it would be even better. Also it is a bit of history with Stoner going to be champ this year I reckon...

The sticker set we did is for the RC211V seat so there is no pillion cover. It will need adjusting for any other seat. It is very specific to size and shape.

The gold foil is used on the pinstriping around the red on the tank and upper cowling.

I've just had my tank painted by cycle sprays in Surrey and it looks the nuts and was reasonable money.
