NC30 Rebuild complete

Post by Moore »

Hi, I have been meaning to do this thread for a while now? i started this project nearly 3years ago now, bought the bike off Ebay. it was located in york, advertised as having blown engine and being cosmeticaly challenged, the pics were not to bad. haha, When i arrived to collect the bike, cosmeticaly challenged wasnt the half of it.. ( i was gutted to say the least ) bike was very neglected.. :o VERY i say? I didnt pay the price i won it at, it was not as described!!! came home with it for £320.. At that time i couldnt afford to go out and buy a mint nc30, so my plan was to go buy this and make good of it.. I knew it would take time, money and a bit of effort ..

Heres a couple of pics of the cosmeticaly challenged project

I had no choice from here other than to get dirty, strip everything apart, get a list togrther of jobs to be done and things to be bought, blasted and powder coated.. OMG, how that list just grows? the first thing i wanted was a good motor, always a bit of a gamble when it comes to buying an engine. unless you can test or hear running, then your left with only the sellers word that things are as they should be? I managed to find a seller down south who offered a 60 day guarantee on one, 33.089km, k reg, delivered £350.
In my opinion "you pay for what you get" somtimes? Anyways i will try and save the text and let the pictures do the talking.
