clocks
Hi Guys,
I am trying to get my step sons old CB400 SF back on the road as I need some wheels. I know from searching that getting clocks is a no no, I not too worried at this stage about appearance, so with that in mind does any body know which other clocks from the Honda range will do the job.

Re: clocks
I can get clocks from Japan, not as cheap as they were about a year ago tho, guess they're getting a bit scarce there toojamesD wrote:Hi Guys,

Re: clocks
I would be interested in the price of clocks from Japan, thank you.
Never heard of Koso before, just had a look at the site.
Thanks for your help.

Re: clocks
I believe the old hornets have the same clocks as the CB400sf..
you can also probably just use any aftermarket clocks. The only problem with this is that the bike will go into limp mode so above 80mph it will switch to 3 cylinders only....

Re: clocks
if you don't need a rev counter then i imagine more than one honda has a speedo with the same ratios. don't worry about limp mode, just rewire the restrictor.

Re: clocks
Hey guys,
Thanks for the help, the bike is unrestricted any way so that shouldn't be a problem.
How about a good wiring diagram can anybody help? I have a Russian one in black and white and Russian believe it or not. When is the world just going to speak English?

Re: clocks
Well seeing as the CB400sf was only released in Japan only a Japanese manual was created. The russian one is actually one translated from Japanese...
I have one translated from the russian manual into pigeon English (to be honest you might as well be reading the russian one.................

Sorry for the late reply, no e-mail alerts gets me every time. These are the kosos that are going cheap over there right now, half the price I paid for mine last year :-jamesD wrote:I would be interested in the price of clocks from Japan, thank you.
