New member with 3TJ 400/600 hybrid
Hello all,
I've just bought a 3TJ 4/6 hybrid to mainly use on the track and the odd squirt on the road. It's a 93 400RR with a 95 FZR600R engine and I'm based in Leicester UK.
I confess I know very little about them and the guy I bought it from didn't do the conversion so no doubt I'll be a regular poster on here!
I think first up will be identifying what mods it already has. I was told it had an R6 shock but it's got a remote reservoir and I don't remember any such on a R6? I'll post up some pics later to see if anyone can identify it.
Also the temp gauges isn't working. Do they normally work with the FZR600R engine and the 400RR clocks? I've also got some replacement clocks from an earlier FZR400

Have a look for the CDI and see if it's running a 600 one - you can run the foxeye or T'cat clocks I think they bolt onto the 3TJ subframe.
It probably just a matter of tracing the wires back to the sensor and seeing if it's connected properly

Thanks for the reply EC. Hopefully I'll have chance to look this weekend and I'll let you know what I find. Ive got some other fzr400 clocks to fit (1WG?, from memory) that I got with the bike as the speedo's also not working
