Power Pure?

Anyone tried a michelin power pure on their NC's?

Got a pilot power on the front and fancy a dual compound on the rear and heard they are pretty good. I've read that a 160 will fit on the back, but what detriment does that have on handling?

Ta.

Running a power pure 120/60 on the front, came with the bike, almost new. No complaints about grip, appears to be no wear in 2000km but not a hard charger, . Have just fitted pilot road 2 160/60 on the rear but yet to try it out. Original rear was gp100 that might have been too old, was very quickly wearing into odd triangular shape with flat centre. Made bike want to fall over when entering a turn. Hoping pilot road 2 will keep a rounded profile as it wears slowly.

Currently running 120 front and 160 rear power pures for the past 5 months, all I can say is awesome tyres, warms up fast! Very sticky as well the dual compound works well even in wet weather!

Would have preferred power pure on rear to match front but 18" wheel is a problem. Although pilot road 2 on the rear may not be the best match for a power pure front, the front is too new to replace & anyway a stickier front tyre should be a benefit.

My mate lowsided his 848 after putting a set of these on. The snobs at Ducati Pisa absolutely HATE these tyres. But I have heard a lot of good things about these as well. I think with modern compounds, it is hard to choose a bad tyre anymore. Just remember to get them scrubbed in before trying to take a switchback with too much lean...
