well after much trepidation i finally fitted it all back together yesterday and went to turn her over, went fine until
"clonk", oh sh*t thought i, turned out battery is shagged too, so charged it overnight, connected up this morning left for 15 mins and after several tries with button, she started, very responsive to throttle no squeaks or rattles
havent tried it on road yet so dont know how gears will be.

just like to thank everyone on the forum for their help and suggestions, without it i wouldnt have known where to start.
not just going to dissapear of here either, got paint job and other small projects lined up for her too. [main 1 being how to fit an R6 or similar 2 seat unit to her, as i like the sleeker look they give ]
