fly wheel puller
don't suppose any one has one they want to send my way for the right price or has a fool proof way of getting it off? cheers (for a 76 by the way but think they're all the same)

like a steering wheel puller works anything with three posts to screw into flywheel with big bolt to pull it out check you local auto store

cheers for that folks. already ordered what i though was a proper puller, the same size as what the bandit 400 has listed. a m35x1.5 internal r/h thread. hope i ain't made a balls up. if not i'll have a look at that on flea bay. cheers

Yeah thats a starter clutch puller. I never bothered getting one of those when i stripped my engine.

Just a FYI for others when you mean fly wheel you are talking about the charging part of these bikes big round thing with magnets in it that if you get grams taken off makes the bike rev quicker takes a machine shop with a big lathe

There is the risk that if you put it in the lathe as mentioned that the magnets will crack altering the efficiency of your charging circuit.
