hey mate.
if its 3 cylinders then its not going to be coil as it would almost certainly lose the other cylinder on that coil also.
check your plugs an leads first.
Did you manage to sort the idle issue before this?
Does it go onto 4 cylinders when you get the revs up?

Hi mate I just had to replace a coil on mine this weekend it was running rough on idle cutting in and out,
anything electrical that was turned on ie fans or lights would cause it to stall.
It also was running badly because the carbs were out of balance but only slightly. also it seems to start better with the air screws turned out 2 1/4 turns not 1 3/4.
