Remove the slide and the float bowl, undo the main jet one turn and push it inwards with ya thumb, repeat and the emulsion tube will start to come out of the carb into where the slide fits. Remove this and put ya fingers into the front opening of the carb and push the white plastic slide holder up and out of the top of the carb body, its very tight and if you use a screw driver etc you will fcuk it. The o'ring is under this and when you replace everything the emulsion tube only goes in one way around (theres a cut out at the bottom) its pulled back in by the main jet and only needs nipping up.
Good luck Chris.

Just pm'd you about a set of O rings, my 400 vv starts and runs okay, but has a horribly flat spot at around 6k, it really feels like the engine is dying, its ok below 5k and get it to 7k and it pulls well, its just around the 5-6k mark.
From what I have read the O rings and a good clean sound favourite?
