the dreaded day is looming HELP?
I have my 76a carbs sat in the garage, next to a bag full of O-rings and am hoping to replace them this weekend, is there any sort of picture heavy guide to follow? or shall I just take them to bits one at a time and replace as I go?
How has everyone tackled this? with help or just jumped in and got on with it?

Do one carb at a time and work on a clean surface (old news paper) lube the o'rings with fuel as they pinch if dry.
The pilot screws are in the order of o'ring , small washer, spring and then pilot screw last.
If you get stuck PM me and i will help all i can.

word of warning do not over tighten or force the jet o-rings in.
most carb issues i have to sort for people are bent tubes or pinch o-rings.
also when re-fitting the jet carrier do not over tighten as the emulsion tube can spin and damage it.

Right then, I started with this job today full of confidence and enthusiasm and that very quickly turned to confusion and the urge to give up! I set myself up with a nice table and chair in the garden put a white rag over the top and sat myself down

removed the first cap as photo shows and got to work firstly changing this one with a 5.5mm o-ring

and then this one with a 7.5mm o-ring

never forgetting to use petrol as a lubricant though!

This is where I got stuck though.. I cant seem to find anymore o-rings to replace? where are they hiding?
if someone could either tell me or point out on one of the following pics I would be very grateful!

I took this out and was just wondering if it should have an o-ring in or not? I get the feeling it should, but I could be very wrong

O- Rings on the end of the mixture screws and remove the carb top and you will see the o ring.
