about to change my front discs, just read article in MCN about this and they say to use loctite. But in my haynes manual it says nothing about loctite. Anyone got any opinions?

I don't like using it. I've snapped disc bolts when tightening them before because of loctite residue on them.
You'll never see Honda advising to use loctite on disc bolts. Just torque them up to the required spec.

I don't like to Loctite mine because the steel bolts always seem to galvanize in the wheel and are tough enough to get out. Honda makes some bolts that are pre-drilled for safety wire and that's what I do on my RS125, but then again I'm paranoid.

I don't but check them from time to time as part of normal 'going over' the bike. I *hate* removing old ones
