Hi everyone,i have just bought the above bike on a B plate 1985.In standard blue,and white Suzuki colours.All standard apart from a DIC exhaust,which i cant find any info on the net.After a replacement sticker for the can,seem rarer than hens teeth.
Anyway she is a runner,and after a clean up and new battery,brake bleed,and a new back tyre.i hope too get her on the road,in the Spring.Cant workout how too,upload pics in this link??.Ta Jim

Hope you like the bike! i really like the early slabby and have one in bits minus the engine. I keep meaning to fit a YPVS engine into it but its one of those none starters.

Thanks guys!!!,she is in really good nick for a 26 year old bike.Shouldnt take too much to get her back on the road.Probably change the wheels to 17 inchers somewhere down the line.Got her for 300 quid so a good deal!,i know they are not as popular as later models.However I am a sucker for the 80s styling.Had alot of 8os bikes, Rg250 x2 one Walther Wolf,750 Slabby,GSXR1100K,RG400,RG500,and a Honda Ns400r(just seen it for sale for 5 grand on Ebay).Cost me 1500 quid ten years ago.Had fzr1000 Exup,400 Exup,Bandit 400,plus other stuff.Just want to get out riding again.Thanks Jim

Hey I have a gk71b as well im near goole we will have to get together mine was a real shed but slowly getting there could use some forks and screen plus someone to take a hires pik of the gk71 gsxr logo, I have a 750 wn as well
