Where can I find this nut?

Post by Callist »

Hi,

I am not too sure what it is called, but I will try to explain :)

Where the camshafts are, there are the valves and above eavh valve is a metal bar with a thread and nut on. This bar pushes down onto the valve to open them up.

The nut for one of these bar's is absolutely shot! I cannot find anywhere where I can purchase a new one (only the nut) any clues? I measured the nut and I'm pretty sure it is M5 x 0.5. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

P.S - The bike is a GK73A

Edit: I just had a look, it is a tappet adjuster screw! :) I still need a bolt for it :(
