Front Sprocket Interchangability

Post by ludacris »

hey guys,

so I'm struggling to find front sprockets for the NC35 at non rip off prices over here...just wondering are most honda sprockets interchangable between the road bikes? i.e: i know front sprockets between the vfr400, rvf400 and cbr400 are interchangable but say would a 15T 525 sprocket for a cbr600 or cbr900 fit just the same?

are there any other honda models the NCs can interchange with? seems like the more popular bikes have cheaper priced sprockets...

cheers

EX650,250,500 and R6 off hand but all need to be correctly spaced. Check JT sprockets website to cross ref.

I can pick you up a sprocket from DSS for £15 and postage out to you should be less than £10 if it helps. If you want me to get one for you, PM me with your address, etc and I'll give you a Poopal addy to pop the money in to.

RB Racing do cheapish 520 sprockets - it's worth the conversion just for the cheaper sprockets I reckon.

yeh iv ordered a 525 chain and rear sprocket already so i think i'll do the 520 conversion next time...

did you go 14 and 40 sprockets with the 520 pitch? i read somewhere that that was the best setup. also doesn't it affect your speedo reading??
