hey everyone im lewis from kent, just bought myself a e plate gsxr400 as a project, got it for 200 quid but fella had lost keys etcetc and needs quite a lot of work, first job is to clean the carbs and get a bettery on it and see how it fires up and runs, the problem i have is im finding it very hard to find info on these bikes, and from what i have found it looks like i have a sp model, no rear footpegs, adjustable front suspension, shock resevoir poking out under seat panel etc, is there anywhere i can find more info to determine 100% its a sp, do sps have different carbs to normal etc? also i need to know the float heights etc for the carbs, any help or info much appreciated,

Hi,
All the info you need is here if you have a dig about. What model you got? If its a gk76 sp it will have 35mm carbs with TPS fitted (black box on side).

If you PM me ya email i will send you a parts list over that lists the SP parts.
The 73a SP has same carbs as standard but Suzi removed the ally spacers that fit between the rubber carb manifold and the head, this allowed for a slightly larger air box that has different part no. than non SP.
Also has a different inlet cam + gear ratios.
