Streetfightering the NC30
I took my nc30 for a ride today and throughly enjoyed it but im hurting more and more everytime i ride it and im considering streetfightering it even though i'd rather not.
Yes i know there are many ways to make the bike more comfortable but i SPECIFICALLY want to know about streetfightering it.
Anyone streetfightered their NC30? Any advice - apart from don't do it?
Thanks.

Re: Streetfightering the NC30
I have never seen a nice streetfightered 30. Someone on here fitted a ducati rear on a streetfighter bike. Can't remember who it belonged to. It was black and orange and that looked ok.

Why not fit raised clipons?
Streetfightering a bike like an NC30 is a crap start.
Why not get an knackered old bandit?

Have you seen this one? The rear always looks fine but I've never seen one that manages to make the front look like it was manufactured and not some cobbled together mismatched collection of other parts from other bikes. The risers work as does the seating position but the headlghts on this one, like all the others I've ever seen
look like it belongs on another bike.
Your shout but if you're sure you want to do it, get yourself an old bandit or fazer.

How hard can it be?

I'd rather not do it but needs must...
Im not doing it for the look, i'd rather keep the original look of the bike.
Im sure there was someone on here who did it a while ago, anyone remember who it was?

As much as I lvoe NC30s and I am sure you do too..why fuck up a perfectly good one?
If you need a fighter to ride and commute on I guess? Then get a cheap one and keep the NC30 for what it is..which is a little, teeny weeny supersports 400.
Anyways, a streetfighter needs to be able to wheelie, pull macca skids and have skulls painted on the tank

The bodywork is quite tatty but mechanically sound.CMSMJ1 wrote:As much as I lvoe NC30s and I am sure you do too..why fuck up a perfectly good one?

Back to streetfightering, where do i start? What bars should i use? And recommend me a good headlight that takes halogen h4 bulbs and not home lighting.

Re: Streetfightering the NC30

spend some money on some raised bars & a double bubble screen, riding a naked nc30 is complete poo, trust me, ive done it & h4 bulbs! you'll be buying a UK wire loom then.
you can buy a half decent gs500 for £350 - you'll most probably spend that making a good bike bad.
