Re: Pipe WerX ?
Do you currently have a standard or aftermarket muffler?
ANY aftermarket muffler will sound much 'better' than a standard muffler!

i have a racetune exhaust at the moment but its seen better days, for example. someone obviously put something in the exhaust that wasnt suppose to go in there (my guess is the wrong baffle or something) and has had to split the tail pipe to get it out. And it also sounds really tinny not nice and though like a V4 so im thinking the internals have gone

Re: Pipe WerX ?
What I've found is that the muffler construction can make a bigger effect on noise than the brand of muffler (and of course the level of gas restriction - this is something you can usually check by looking through the muffler).
Carbon always sound good (IMO), stainless & alloy mufflers can be prone to some resonation which sounds like a 'spring' rasping sound, especially present on overrun.
I've had stainless systems/mufflers that would always resonate badly. But in saying that, the best muffler I've ever heard was a custom stainless muffler on an nc30.
Choices, choices.....

Thta is big bucks for what is a basic, generic can..
Why not get one from a local exhaust manufacturer?? £65 shipping from UK is harsh

Re: Pipe WerX ?
They look awesome. Price is a bit steep though. Especially with that postage.
Ask if you can pick it up if you're nearby or arrange for a courier to pick up or something if you're desperate for that can.
