GK76a Wiring Diagram.

Post by Alex. »

Hi Guys,

I'm building a basket case of an GK76a with my wife and have run up against the usual issue of CDIs and wiring!

The original loom is scrap, but in the boxes did come a much better condition loom, so this went on the bike during the rebuild. Unfortunately it appears that the old and new loom used different CDIs. Can I just rewire the connectors to put the original connector on the new loom?

If that is possible, does anyone have a wiring diagram for the two connector CDI? It has two connectors with a total of 7 wires. I have found a wiring diagram of the other CDI, with a single connector and 11 wires.

Any and all help much appreciated.

Alex.

P.S. Would there be any chance of a copy of the Japanese PDF manual?

I'll have a look to see if I have the manual.

Thanks for the diagram, but that's the one I've got.

The manual would be a great help!

Here's a GS500 diagram. It's the only Suzuki one I can find with a 7 wire CDI, all others are 11 wire or 6 wire.
