No fuel to intakes??

I have finally gotten over the problem i had with no spark, i now have another.
I have been trying to start the bike but there doesn't seem to be any fuel flowing into the intake ports, i have cleaned the carbs and everything has been assembled correctly, but it doesn't want to feed the bike.
If i pour a little fuel into the ports, it trys to take but not when the carbs are on.
Any ideas??
Fuel does get into the carbs but doesn't flow out, could i have a problem with the compression or could it the the needles?

Have you got the vacum bike connected to the tank to open the fuel valve?

Done all that, i checked the vacumn, it was fine, i did manage to get it started after i reseated the pilot jet and lowered the clip on the needles to the lowest groove. the jets however look a little bent, should i replace them and if so where could i get some? will anything happen now that i have reaised the needles, should it always be on the middle one?

Have you checked the fuel float heights? Should be around 20 mm .
Idle mixture screws set to 1.5 turns out?
Idle speed screw set to about 1400 rpm?
Hope that is some help

I did read in the bandit manual that its probably due to float heights, im gonna go do mine in a bit because i read elsewhere that its meant to be 20mm float height so when i cleaned my carbs i set it to that, yet the bandit400 manual says its meant to be 14.6, on my zx6r is 13mm so im hoping this will be the cure, ill let you know!

I have no idea as the bikes not mine, i saw gsxr400rm on the frame if that helps, adjusting the floats sorted the problem, the bandit manual says 14.6mm for the floats but thats not possible on the gsxr, i set mine as close to 16mm as i could, and it started up after a few seconds on the starter button!
