Signal Generator Output

Hi there, I am still trying to fathom out why my bike wont even spark as it turns over well and all the components seem to measure ok.
I have measured the resistance across the terminals of the pick up coil and it reads 96.8ohms, so that should be fine.
Un-knowing if it is the cdi at fault I was wondering if anyone knows what the output should be from the pick up coil if I put it on an oscilloscope and measure it to actually see if the cdi was getting a signal to fire?

Once again, many thanks for you time reading this........ Ian

The book only gives a terminal reading of between 80 and 120 ohm.

All seems to be going well now apart from the carbs flooding.
I earthed out the green/yellow wire from the neutral switch to the cdi and it sparks away as it should.
Hopefully my hair will grow back now :)

Hi I've got the same fault no spark exept the odd one after I've been cranking the engine! Did you ground that wire to the frame or the other switch wire?
My side stand switch is faulty so I shorted out the two loom wires but it made no difference.
Is there anything else on these bikes to check for that's not the usual suspect?
Do they have a clutch switch? as there seems to be a slot for one but I can't see any wiring for it.
Does anyone have a CDI for sale? (GK76A two plug) part no 32900-33C70 BB7240.
Thanks for any advice guys.
