Black\White paint schema. Any advice ?

Post by PARUS »

I'm thinking to repaint motorcycle during the winter. I like to try black\white color schema. Tail unit will be from cbr1000 07 (carbon) with white cover seat and undertail.

Current on the left and planning on right.

So, any advices ? Fraime also will be painted, but I'm not sure black will be good, maybe grey or...

I think that Mugen scheme looks ace. But out of the black and the black and white, I'd say stick with the black. The black/white scheme looks a bit mismatched.

Before I have it in black with decal - not bad, but want something new... and special... and not expensive...

I like the black and white, but it needs some black decals on the white tank and upper fairing, and some white ones on the bottom to make it look finished and not like it is awaiting paint, like it currently is.

Maybe think about another colour such as red or blue to use in small places to give some more interest to the paint scheme.
