More connection questions

Can anyone tell me if these connections are right/ what they are for?

Whats the red wire with the white trace and single connector supposed to be connected to?
not an original plug? but will it work wired this way? wiring connects to 2x silver sensors? on the side of the engine (engine is a VC)
Sorry for all the questions , had the bike a while but only just got round to getting it fixed up for the missus. Hopefully these are the last 2 bits of wiring i need to sort out, then its on with the painting and body mods. Planning on an r6 07 tail, custom belly pan and maybe a headlight from a b king?
