Hi all, i have a 92/93 400 bandit with the vc motor. It's stripped for painting at the mo and have a few electrical points to sort out does anyone know where i can download a wiring diagram? The radiator fan has 2 leads coming from it but they're not connected to anything and i cant find anywhere they should plug in?? any ideas?
The only other two things have to sort are the rev counter not working and no wiring for the side light? it had bates style twin headlights fitted but with only main beam/dip and dont seem to be able to find any connections for the side light.

Returns (neutral) are black with white tracer and any fits any.
Sidelight is brown.
Tacho if i remember is black with yellow tracer altho im sure mine turns to black/red at the tacho end, inside the headlight.
One of the rad fan wires is black/white so any black/white and the other is orange/yellow, these should connect to the main loom near the thermostate and right hand coil wires just above the cylinder head.
Im waiting on a jap VVC book to cover the early VVC and will be printing a wiring diagram in the near future so keep looking in.

cool, cheers i'll stick some pics up soon to show you the wiring mess i've got to deal with lol i'll have another look tomorrow and see if i can sort the fan wiring out. Tacho wiring does go from blk/yel to a connector where it joins a blk/red connectors clean but no movement from the tacho when running? i'll have a search for a brown wire too. probably have to strip all the pvc tape off as i think someones had a play with the wiring before

Had a look at the fan wiring this morning, there was a blue (from temp switch) connecting to a blue going to the loom, and a black brown(from temp switch) connecting to a black white. Pulled back the sleeving on the fan wires to reveal a black white and a black brown, seems the previous owner connected them up wrong! So the fans now sorted now just got to sort the side light and tacho out....












whats the component in the sleeve coming from the blue plug for?
