anything is possible, depends how much effort you are prepared to put in. it wont be a direct replacement, from my experience you are talking a new clock / front fairing mount, new brackets for side fairings, the rear subframe is likely to require modification or a completley new one fabricating due to tail sizes differing.

new seat to line up with old tank & new tail fairing or if you fancy using the modern tank, shaping it to fit the frame / size of bike etc, other things may need relocating, with my vfr the coolant tank needed moving and a different type using.

as i said to start, anything is possible, pretty much any fairing on any bike ( with in reason, no hayabusa fairing on a rs125 ) but it can take some work ;)

yh it will take a lot of work to fit but just wondered if anyone had done it yet and also if the size of fairing would fit the 400 size.

I'm going to fit cbr100rr 08 tail unit. When all work will be done, I'll upload the picture. But one thing is absolute clear - subframe should be totally modified.

ive in the past fitted r6 fairings to my old fzr400, i think that the size might be an issue, best bet is to get your bike next to a thou and have a look even take pictures so you can go away and really think about it, there is a considerable ammount of work to be done but i think if you do it and get it right you'll be as happy as a pig in shit, i was with mine and im now doing a similar thing with a vfr750 (only in carbon) i would suggest its a winter lay up project dont forget to find a light for it too, im suggesting left side (viewed from front) for that endurance racer look.
