No spark

Hi I am new to this forum your help would be great, well I have a 93 bandit and did a motor swap. I installed a 92 motor now I am not getting any spark. The motor before the swap ran perfect no issuses, reason that motor got ruined because I down shifted instead of upshifted and boom bye bye motor. That's the reason for the swap I checked fuses, coils, grounds, and all connections all fine.. Please help!

You need to put the old pickup trigger onto the new motor as these are not the same- 92 cdi will not run with 93 trigger, 93 cdi will not run with 92 trigger.

If you are sitting on the bike what side is the is the pick up trigger on and exactly what part is it. Sorry not to familiar with theses parts of the motorcycle. Thanks

Its under the small leftside cover and you need a puller to remove it.

Variables suck you are the man ( this forum ) also!!!!
You saved me a ton of time and money with that solution..
I asked tons of people and mechanics and that never crossed any of there thoughts. Now my girlfriend can learn to ride this weekend. She says thanks also.
