hi guys.
Like the topic title says, my nc24 is booked in for its first M.O.T in five years, its had new tyres, brakes, fork oil seal and oil, what things should i be paying attention to before i take it??

i think as its a gray import i will have to stick on a red reflector on the number plate or somewhere at the rear as it doesnt hae one standard?? am i right??

Any help and possative thoughts would be really good!

you are right about the reflector, you can buy one of the little dot ones for a pound from most bike shops....

this might help to make sure it up to standard

They do have a reflector as standard

People seem to take it off though as it fouls a standard UK size number plate.

I simply moved the holes the reflector and bracket bolt onto down half an inch by drilling a new set.. the number plate covers up the old holes.

Standard number plate holder and bracket £6

You can see the Standard number plate bracket in that auction

As for the bike.. Check for any play in the wheel and head bearings.

The NC24 uses H4's as standard so make sure the headlight aim is correct.

All your brakes work and arn't sticking / binding.

And of course make sure all the bulbs work / horn / controls.
