Any recommendations for a clutch folks? Mine is horrible, stiff, notchy ect. Have a new cable but I think I will put a new one in and new springs too.

Got to drop the motor back out this weekend to do valve clearances, fit a new airbox asnd try to get the wiring loom in properly, may as well do the clutch as well.

valve clearances can be done with the engine in on the 76a. EBC plates are ok. Make sure you soak them in oil over night and replace the springs bolts and plain plates at the same time for best results. Do not reuse the bolts or they will snap. The torque specified by suzuki is beyond tensile limit

Thanks for that stripes, looks like the motor has to be out to fit the airbox, I may be wrong though. I am no expert with these!

I am going to do the clearances, renew the clutch and genrator covers, clutch etc, and I really want this loom sorted out so with the engine out of the way hopefully everything will be easier.

Also meant to ask where to get a km/h to mph converter from, anyone on here sell such a thing?

wemoto are stocking the mph converters again but you will need to give them a call as I dont think they show it on the website.

You can leave the motor in, just unscrew the 4 carb manifolds? on the engine

Lol! never thought of taking the mountings off! Will know if I ever have to do it again in future though.

All the other wee jobs probably makes taking the engine out worthwhile though.
