have spark and fuel but no life

The 76a is pretty much all back together now, it just wont start. I gave it into the garage a few months ago after I replaced the o rings and asked them to balance the carbs, they said they balanced them the best they could but found a few other problems at the same time so it still wasnt working properly. All stripped down and sorted, new plugs (cr9's), fixed airbox and manifold leaks, fixed fuel not going to 2 carbs, recently realised the fuel tap is leaking a bit, so need to sort that out.
Theres fuel going to all the carbs and to the plugs, all of which have a spark, so im guessing it must be the mixture thats awry? I was wondering if there was anything else it could be before I play about or check what the mixture screws are set at as the workshop balanced the carbs (sort of).

I got a set off ebay, it said it was for this bike. Only recently found out the 8's are a better choice. It had 3 9's in and 1 8 when I got it, so it should still work a little at least.

if it was running before you fixed things then i would reset the idle mixes. Make sure there is slack on the throttle cable. The idle speed screw is right out so you start with choke only. See what happens after you have done that. If that doesn't work let me know what its doing. If it starts, set up from there once started.

I checked all the mixture screws they were at 1.5 turns out, tried all the way up to 2 with no luck then put them back to 1.5. Is that what you meant by idle mixes or are they something else? Idle screw is the big nob in the middle im guessing?
I think the only major change I made was adjust the number of links in the cam chain. It was originaly on 18 and I moved it to 20.

i would go back and check the cam timing. It is so easy to get it wrong. They aren't the best marked for timing

By that do you mean aligning the 2 marks on the left side of the engine and getting the piston tdc? Havent had time this week unfortunatly and Im off again until chrimbo so wont be able to do anything to it till then unfortunatly...so if anyone wants to take it off my hands by tomorrow go ahead!
I just tried to bump start it but put it in gear and the rear wheel completely locks up. Im guessing this isnt supposed to happen and it should push fairly easily with a bit of resistance?
