A bit smokey
Hi all, I have been running my bike for short periods only as the wiring is still dangling about and the cooling system is not fully installed. It is a little smokey, blue obviously oil, I am hoping it's oil in the exhaust as the previous engine grenaded itself and this engine came with the bike but I know nothing of it's history. Are they prone for stem seals or iis it more likely to be bore wear. I know it cant be pinpointed without a stripdown, was just wondering what if any are the weak points on the engines. 76a by the way.
Can anyone tell me where I can get a temp sender for the gauge? I assume it wil be shared with other zuks too?
Thanks, si

Re: A bit smokey
biggest weak point is regular services. neglect this and you will break it. other than that the only manufactured issue is cam chain tensioner. Of all the engines i've seen that have lost pistons valves etc etc its down to not checking clearances regularly and the occaisional cam tensioner. As for the smoke look to the exhaust first. 4ule out the cheap options first.

That's the way I was thinking stripes, new oil and filter before I started the motor, need a new temp sender so I can run it up properly, smoke may dissapear.
