anyone know if the 400 downpipes can be made to fit the 600fk/ fl engines?

600сс bike having different admission\exit section - I don't recommend do this for carburator motorcycle...

the in side diameter is the same 400/600/900 . get your self standard nc23 tri arm headers . not nc29 .
you will need to cut the down pips then coller them and spring or weild them . the standard 600 headers will fit but not with the nc23 fairings as they will burn the belly pan

600 FM and onwards run the cam chain on the side so the spacing on 2 and 3 will be different.

or buy race pipes that can be moved a fair amount,lol.you never know what will work till you play around.stranger things have happened!seen plenty of ok race headers cheap on ebay over the last few weeks and you should get gains and lose some weight,win win.if a blade engine can run a 23 airbox and have no probs this stuff should work as well.take a punt!everthing doesnt need to be original to work well.
