Are you on about the breather pipe in the top of the tank, not the fuel tap on the bottom?

You can't blow into the one on the top, it's a one - way vent.

It's a vaccumn operated tap, you won't be able to blow into it until you suck on the small vaccumn pipe to open the diaphram.

What problem are you getting?

Most fuel related issues with the VFR's is that the small vacucum pipe breaks and it dosn't open the fuel tap.
