mounting Shock reservoir

I recently fitted a NC30 shock to my NC35... I mounted the reservoir to the back of the right side pillion footrest hanger but the wheel seems to be scraping up against it...
Any idea where or how else I can mount this?

Why did you fit the 30 shock?
Some of the linkeage / dogbone / bushes are different between the 30 / 35 so is the shock actually and different?
And as for mounting the remote resevoir, i'd say anywhere where the wheel can't hit it

The NC35 doesn't have a remote resevoir on the standard shock.

I fitted the NC30 shock because it was the cheapest option at the time. Also the guy I bought it from said it was rebuilt for a track bike so I figured at half the price of a rebuilt std NC30 shock from a bike shop, this was a better buy... the guy also had a std NC35 shock but I went with the rebuilt 30 shock instead because some people on here rate it better than the NC35 unit.. mostly because it can be rebuilt and the 35 can't be?(eventhough a local suspension specialist said Any shock can be rebuilt)
The shock went in no problem.. I've been told by a few people that the NC30 and NC35 shock is interchangeable... There does seem to be a small amount of ride height increase... I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it being an NC30 shock or that it's been "extensively rebuilt" (according to the previous owner)
Either way, it was cheap enough as I just needed something that wasn't leaking oil all over.. and I have noticed in improvement in the rear end...
HAHA.. yes that's exactly what I was thinking.. "somewhere where it doesn't hit the wheel.. So I guess I need a bracket so that it mounts a bit more out of the way then... I just thought maybe someone had a slightly more hidden spot to mount it...

Should be able to pick up a bracket on here for next to nothing.

The bike has been dropped but nothing's bent or twisted...
