Will it fit?
Hey,
Yeah i know i dont post very often but been busy...! I`ve popped the motor in the 73 so i`m looking for a replacement it`s just toooo damn expensive to rebuild to a good standard/tune etc. Question is will a variable valve bandit motor fit ok(i think it will)and just what is the difference between the two and are there any extra ancilliries required with the the bandit mangle?
Thank`s fella`s
Andy.

Re: Will it fit?
Hi Andy,
I know the standard bandit motor will fit the 73A but the VVC motor will not fit the standard bandit from without work due to the cam sensors and carb tps sensor making the motor wider so if the standard unit is tight you may get problems. Also the cdi for the VVC is a 12 pin unit as per SP GSXR so you may be better finding a standard bandit engine and then swopping the cams over.
